Crazy Crafters Annual Catalogue Sneak Peak!

You would have seen the Stampin Up retiring list, well the reason for that is to make way for brand new amazing products in the new catalogue.

Today we have a treat for you, as demonstrators we have been lucky and can pre-order items prior to 1st June, so lets get to it and show you some of these amazing new products!  I've made a set of note cards using the Eastern Palace Suite - and this suite is super special as you too can get your hands on it before 1st June, you will be able to pre-order select bundles from May 1st!

This suite has ENDLESS possibilities, both with the stamp set and the amazing framelits alone, and thats not even mentioning the DSP and accessories! I have only scratched the surface with these note cards:

I've featured just one of the designs from the fabulous DSP for my notecard set, my first card also uses one of the golden stickers - a great alternative to embossing, and it matches the DSP!

For my next card I've layered two of the gorgeous die cuts in this suite, and again one of the stickers as the focal point of the flower, I gold embossed the sentiment - just love the font!

My last card today features one of the delicate die cuts in the suite - the framelits come with 3 layers! I've used just one and then embossed and layered a stitched framelit with my sentiment

Like I said, I have only scratched the surface, I will be playing a lot more with this set so stay tuned for lots of lovely project courtesy of Eastern Palace

Be sure to  hop all the way around our Crazy Crafters Sneak Peak and see all the incredible creations, and if you have a chance please leave a comment, we love receiving comments! Colour INKspiration #08

Welcome to the Colour INKspiration blog hop, this fortnight I am taking part in the hop as Guest Designer - what an honour! Here are the colours for this fortnights challenge:

Love the little duckies in this scene! I took quite some time to decide on my creation as these colours are not natural to me, but hey! that is the great thing about challenges - you get out of your comfort zone and stretch yourself.  In the end I decided the Touches of Texture set would work a treat with this colour selection

I started with the watercolour stamping of the flower with Delightful Dijon, then stamped the detail using Tip Top Taupe and Soft Suede, off setting a little each time I stamped, and finished with a layer of gold embossing. I repeated the same process for the stem and Sentiment (from Rose Wonder). Adding a layer of Delightful Dijon on top of the Early Espresso card base really made the flower pop

The final touch was to add some "splatter" by loading up my aqua painter and flicking onto the card - perfectly ties in withe to watercolour stamp for the flower base :)

Next on the Blog Hop is the amazing Bronwyn Eastley, enjoy!

If you'd love to join in the fun of the Colour INKspiration Challenges just head on over to the Facebook group and request to join. You'll see lots of amazing creations in the group!

Fairy Celebration | #WWYS113

Welcome to this weeks challenge at What Will You Stamp? This week the set we are showcasing features something that is close to lots of little girls hearts, fairies. Come see what we have created with the the lovely Fairy Celebration stamp set

I chose to use my Water colour pencils to colour my little fairy, I'm still getting used to them as I normally go straight for ink and an aqua painter, but I was pleasantly surprised with how well colours I was able to blend and fade the colours with a blender pen.

Rich Razzleberry is the prefect accompaniment for Sweet Sugarplum, and compliment my Bermuda Bay Fairy. I love the little "fairy dust" stamp in the set, it adds a great touch to the top of the card.

Sparkling Falling Flowers

Sparkles, bling and pastels, what more could a girl ask for, talk about my favourite things! I am over the moon with these themes from the Global Design Project and Colour Inkspiration

Here is my project - it is safe to say enter my crafting room at your own risk if you don't want any traces of glitter following you out of there!

Glitter, glitter everywhere..... I made my version of glitter paper today! I started with a strip of Irresistibly floral Designer Series Specialty paper, using post it notes I covered the stripes and sponged the Inkspiration Challenge colours - LOVE this specialty paper, it is fantastic how you just sponge your colours on and you are left with a beautiful pattern - this product is retiring, stocks are getting low, so get it now before it is gone for ever

I wasn't done there, next a coat of Versamark and then on with Heat & Stick powder followed by Dazzling Diamonds - BLING!

I also inked with versamark when stamping my images from the gorgeous Falling Flowers set, I clear embossed and also added a little Dazzling Diamonds. I used a blender pen to colour the flowers, and cut with the May flower framelits (currently available as a bundle - you save 10%). Then after roughly laying out drew a curved line and cut the edge of some whisper white card stock, trimmed and adhered my flowers, then stamped the from Blooms and Wishes adding Dazzling Diamonds... of course! I glued my BLING strip to the card base, then layered the flower panel using adhesive foam strips. Just in case you didn't get enough BLING, here's another view:

Stampin Friends Birthday Celebration Blog Hop

Hello, welcome to the Stampin Friends blog Hop! This month we our theme is all about Celebrating Birthdays. We also have Jen Cerizo joining us as a Guest Hopper, welcome Jen.

I'm sure that you will be inspired by the projects we are sharing - make sure that you work you way through the entire Hop by clicking on the names at the end of my post so that you don't miss at thing!

Birthdays are a time for celebration, and with kids birthdays balloons are a must (I didn't say what age the "kid" needs to be, lol), the Balloon Celebration set has gorgeous balloon stamps and there are matching framelits too- all part of the amazing Party Animal Suite!

My colour theme is curtesy of the bright and bubbly Party Animal DSP, I got quite carried away with stamping in different colours, and couldn't help but add the little star embellishments to finish off the celebration!

What's a birthday with our a treat, I not usually an orange girl, but just love the balloon themed DSP to match in with my card, so I pulled out my Gift Bag Punch Board and cut into the gorgeous DSP

This bag is perfect for a gift, or if you were hosting the party would also make a great thank you treat bag for party attendees.

You are currently on my blog - Sue Vine - Miss Pinks Craft Spot, check who is below me in the list and that is where to head to next! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Cupcakes and Carousels | #WWYS112

Welcome to this weeks challenge at What Will You Stamp? We are creating with nostalgic Cupcakes & Carousels stamps set.

You know the thoughts you get when you first see a stamp set for the first time...... well I had such a thought when I saw Cupcakes & Carousels, then I saw this amazing creation from Claire Napper and it was confirmed!

Some time has gone between Brisbane OnStage and now, I had all but forgotten that I was going to make a version a carousel, then when we were out the other weekend at the beach, this jolted my memory - the first item that my daughter wanted to play on at the Beachouse.... the Carousel!

I regathered my thoughts and in conjunction with the Window box framelits created a Carousel Gift Box:

I adore how my gift box turned out, the Cupcakes & Carousels DSP is just amazing, it has a lovely rustic/vintage feel about it, and coordinates beautifully with this stamp set - one of the things I love about Stampin Up! - coordinating products :)

I used an aqua painter to colour the horses, I did 2 colour themes and placed them alternating around the 6 edges of the box

The Window box thinlet was a little small for the pony, so I did some "creative stretching" when cutting with the thinlit so the side panels cater for the height of the pony pole (is that what it is called, it is now haha)

I lightly sponged the edge of the sentiment in theme with the DSP, and cut with one of my most used thinlets - Stitched Shapes, then mounted on a Scalloped Oval
