Love Gorgeous Grunge

This is a different kind of card design for me today, trying less is more, not sure if I achieved it or not! I have heat embossed the Red heart with the Love sentiment from You're so Sweet and die cut; and stamped Gorgeous Grunge behind on the Whisper White & layered onto the red card base - I tried to stop there, but I felt the card needed something a little more, so spun some Gold thread on the back of the heart before popping it up on dimensionals. I have gained inspiration and combined 3 great challenges: I have converted the little hearts to the splatters in Gorgeous Grunge and Gold Thread, topped with the Red die cut heart. A Whole Lot of Lovely

If you hadn't already guessed, I just adore Pink, what better way to showcase my favourite colours than  A Whole Lot of Lovely!   When I saw this weeks Pals Paper Arts colour theme I was sold, and Freshly Made Sketches Sentiment theme was just perfect for this Thank You card. I used sponge daubers to apply the ink firstly to the flowers with Pink Pirouette, then to the sentiment in Watermelon Wonder. I added some subtle bling to the Pink Pirouette flowers of this beautiful sentiment stamp with a Wink of Stella and to the edge of the Tip Top Taupe layer before mounting on dimensionals onto the Watermelon Wonder card base. I also stamped the inside of the card I hope you have enjoyed viewing my card; below are the base products I used in my design: Use the current Hostess code displayed at the top of my blog at the check out and you will be eligible for a Thank You gift for for shopping with me  - Learn more  here  - be sure to click YES t

Playful Pals Baby Congrats

I've been back experimenting with Playful Pals again, today's featured Pal is cute little bunny! I am playing along with Pals Paper Arts sketch for this week I improvised with the bunny's head by cutting a 1.5 in circle, I stamped in Soft Slate, then after I silver embossed the sentiment from the Cottage Greeting stamp set decided that I would also emboss the bunny.... so I stamped and cut another!  The cute dotted background is stamped using the Playful Pals set too - I will be making use of that little stamp again for sure. I am just loving my Wink of Stella Glitter Brush - can you see the touch of glitter on bow? Flowering Fields Thanks

The moment I saw this weeks CAS(E) the Sketch! challenge I knew the stamp set I would use.   I have taken the sketch quite literally, but I just couldn't help using the lovely  Flowering Fields Sale-A-Bration stamp set I stamped in Basic Black then used Aqua Painters to colour. I added a touch of Wink of Stella on the adorable little butterfly and some of the flowers - it's really difficult to get a good photo, it looks stunning in the flesh! Purrrfect Love!

I am sharing the Love today with the Global Design Project Theme! I wanted to use colours that weren't specifically feminine, this is always a challenge for me I find masculine cards quite difficult, but I think today's project could cater for either with Basic Black and Whisper White, spiced up with Cherry Cobbler for passion!   I started off with a simple enough plan, then decided to mix it up by making a fun fancy fold Lever Card Pop over to #DGP019 and share the Love! Late edit! I am also entering in this weeks TGIF challenge: #tgifc39- Love Sweet Love I hope you have inspired you with my Love themed project today; below are the base products I used in my design: Use the current Hostess code displayed at the top of my blog at the check out and you will be eligible for a Thank You gift for for shopping with me  - Learn more  here  - be sure to click YES that you allow me as your demonstrator to contact you in your acco
